Luis Eduardo Perez majored in Accounting at Boston University School of Management, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Luis spent 20 years as a General Contractor in the construction industry in Massachusetts and California. In 1998, he moved to San Francisco and returned to accounting, opening a Tax Preparation Company.

Luis is an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the United States Treasury, which allows him to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents are required to pass a complex examination testing their knowledge in all areas of taxation. Enrolled Agents are also required to complete at least 30 hours of accredited tax and business related course work every year to maintain their license. Enrolled Agents are permitted to practice in every State under the Enrolled Agents License.

Luis is a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, and the Golden Gate Society of Enrolled Agents. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Golden Gate Society and was the President of the Golden Gate Society from 2009-2011. Denis was voted Member of the Year for 2007-2008.
